We're Dora and Alex. We've been travelling together since 2003 — a couple of summers in the Mediterranean, a round-the-world trip, a baby, a few moves between countries, and many many flights later, we're still going.
This site is the long version of those scrapbooks. We started writing it because we kept forgetting which restaurant in Hanoi we loved, and we wanted our daughter to be able to read about the trips she was too young to remember.
Across 218 posts and 3,990 photos we've covered 39 countries on 8 continents. Everything here was written and photographed by us — no AI, no rewrites, sometimes a bit of jet lag.
