Copenhagen
Nordics deserve more time......so this is just a taste, we are coming back...
We wanted to NNordicstake a short break to Denmark or Sweden but couldn’t decide between the two, so we booked a weeklong trip and visited both! First up was Copenhagen.
A nice bonus for this part of the trip was having a friend, Konstantinos, living in Copenhagen. He kindly took on the role of our guide for the second of our three days.
We kicked off our exploration with a walk around the main streets downtown. We visited the Rosenborg Castle, which is a beautiful historic building surrounded by lovely gardens. Next, we climbed the Round Tower (Rundetaarn) for some panoramic views of the city. Amagertorv Square and the bustling shopping street were perfect for soaking in the local atmosphere. We wrapped up the day with a beer by Nyhavn, the iconic canal lined with colourful buildings, and then crossed the bridge to Broens Street Food for dinner.
