Day 04 - Trip To Southeast Asia - Singapore

Today, we intended to explore Little India and Little China. Well, that was the plan, but the heat was overwhelming, so we did the tour we had planned but opted for less walking and more air-conditioned Uber rides.

Highlights of the day included visits to temples, a perfume shop with the tiniest bottles (we couldn’t resist buying some), and Mustafa Centre—imagine a convenience store in London that expanded to take over an entire block. We also visited Fort Canning Park, which is another must-see photo spot, and later strolled around Clarke Quay, an open-air shopping area.

In the evening, we caught an interesting video projection over a miniature of Singapore at the town hall (a must-see video). Sadly, the famous Maxwell hawker center was closed, so we skipped lunch and headed to Chinatown to see more temples. The heat and the kids’ sleepiness eventually got the best of us, so we cabbed back to the hotel for some much-needed night Pool Time, complete with a fountain light show at the hotel’s base.
