Bansko

This is the closest decent ski resort to Greece, so we thought we'd give it a go. Surprisingly, it works out cheaper than skiing in Greece, and the snow and resort are far better. The moment you arrive, you can tell that a lot of Greeks come here, which can be both a blessing and a curse (mainly a curse…).

I hadn’t been on a snowboard for three years, but they say it’s like riding a bicycle (though I don’t remember falling this much on a bike, but hey…).

Outside the slopes, food was a disappointment both in quality and options and the place is basically a ski resort so there is no much to say for “outside the slopes”…
