Day 3 - S.africa - Johannesburg

On our final day, we visited the Apartheid Museum, dedicating several hours to absorbing its extensive and moving exhibits. The museum offers a comprehensive look into the apartheid system, detailing its horrific impacts and the courageous efforts that led to its dissolution in 1994—astonishing to think it was only two decades ago. The experience was both sobering and enlightening, leaving us with a deeper understanding of South Africa's past and the enduring importance of equality and human rights.

Our trip to Johannesburg was eye-opening and enriching, defying many of the preconceived notions we had before visiting. While the city has its complexities and challenges, it's filled with history, culture, and a spirit that makes it a truly worthwhile destination.
