Day 7 - S.africa - Cape Town
If not for the weather and the wine...you should come here for the penguins...
Cape Town had been on my bucket list for a long time, and the 6,000-mile flight (10,000 miles on the ground) that takes almost 12 hours made it a challenging destination to reach. But finally, I made it! We planned for four days, which turned out to be just the right amount of time to soak in the magnificent natural beauty at the tip of the continent.
We arrived in the evening and started our adventure with dinner at Nobu in the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront, setting the tone for an amazing trip.
We booked a tour to explore some of Cape Town's top attractions. The tour included Cape Point, Chapman’s Peak Drive, the Lighthouse, The Boulders Beach Penguin Colony, and the Cape of Good Hope. The highlight of the day had to be the penguins at Boulders Beach. We got up close and personal with these adorable creatures, and the photos are fantastic—be sure to check them out!
