Stockholm

For the second leg of our Nordic trip, we visited Stockholm.

We stayed at a hotel near the train station, which made it easy to explore the city. On our first day, we familiarized ourselves with the city layout by walking around the shopping district on the modern side of Stockholm. We then crossed the bridge towards the Parliament House, and from there, we headed to the old city (Gamla Stan). The interconnected islands can be a bit confusing to navigate, so careful planning is key. The old city is full of charm and a delight to explore. We visited the Nobel Prize Museum, which offers insight into the history and significance of the Nobel Prizes. Our day ended with a visit to the Fotografiska Museum, which showcases some incredible photography exhibitions.
