Barcelona
Anywhere a cruise stops in Spain I would be happy...... but Barcelona is the top destination
Barcelona is definitely not the kind of place where you stay on the ship and skip exploring. Even if you've visited multiple times, the city’s charm, culture, and unique architecture always offer something new to discover.
Barcelona is synonymous with Gaudí—his incredible, otherworldly designs are woven into the city’s fabric. You simply can’t visit without seeing some of his masterpieces. We made sure to revisit the Sagrada Familia, which is ever-evolving, and each visit offers something different to admire. The towering spires and intricate facades are awe-inspiring, and the interior is a kaleidoscope of light and color that never fails to leave an impression.
Strolling through Park Güell is like stepping into a dream, with its whimsical mosaics and surreal landscapes. It's a perfect spot for photos and to soak in some of the best views of the city.
Of course, just wandering around the city itself, whether it's down La Rambla, through the Gothic Quarter, or along the beachfront, is an experience in itself. The vibrant street life, delicious food, and rich history make Barcelona a city you can never truly get enough of. Even after multiple visits, there's always something new to appreciate, making it a must-see stop on any Mediterranean cruise.
