Cruise

Civitavecchia Port marked the beginning of our journey on Royal Caribbean's 'Wonder of the Seas.' If you’ve never heard of this ship, I highly recommend Googling it. At the time of our trip, it was the largest cruise ship in the world, and its sheer size, combined with everything packed inside, is beyond imagination.

From the moment we stepped on board, we were blown away by the scale of everything—the food options, the entertainment, the décor, and just the sheer size of the ship. It’s like a floating city, and there’s so much to do that you could easily spend a week on board without ever feeling the need to step off.

The food was incredible, with countless restaurants and cafes offering everything from casual bites to gourmet meals. The entertainment options were just as impressive, with shows, movies, live performances, and even outdoor activities like zip-lining and surfing on the top deck.

Throughout the seven days, we captured plenty of pictures of the ship itself, which I’m including here. It’s hard to describe just how impressive 'Wonder of the Seas' is without seeing it, so these photos should give you a better sense of what it’s like to be on board.

In separate posts, I'll dive into the different stops we made along the way, but the ship itself was definitely a highlight of the entire trip. Whether you're a seasoned cruiser or a first-timer, this is an experience that redefines what a cruise can be.
