Day 07 - Trip To Southeast Asia - Kuala Lumpur

Following a tip from a website, we visited the Batu Caves before sunrise to avoid the crowds and climb the gazillion steps in cooler temperatures. This tip was spot-on. The morning was spent exploring the Batu Caves and the less popular but equally impressive Ramayana Caves.

One thing I wish I’d known beforehand: during Ramadan, many places are closed during the day, which cancelled some of our lunch plans and activities. After the caves, we sought refuge from the heat in another mall, where we had lunch in a massive food court in the basement. In the afternoon, we visited the Miniature Museum—a strange yet fascinating place—followed by a walk around the city and dinner to wrap up the day.
