Day 08 - Trip To Southeast Asia - Kuala Lumpur
Have you ever seen fireflies?If not, you wont see any here either...
The day began with some much-needed Pool Time!!! Afterward, we visited the butterfly park, where I’ve never been so close to so many butterflies—or taken so many pictures of them. Later, we strolled around Merdeka Square (Independence Square), but the intense heat cut our walk short, so we returned to the hotel for lunch.
In the afternoon, we had booked a tour to Firefly Park. Along the way, we made stops to check out some friendly (and hungry) monkeys and visit a few temples. Unfortunately, Firefly Park didn’t live up to its brochure. I wasn’t expecting a massive light show, but as a kid, I remember seeing more fireflies in a single place. However, the kids had never seen fireflies before, so even a few flashes were enough to impress them.
