Day 09 - Trip To Southeast Asia - Kuala Lumpur
You have to visit KL......but the real Malaysia is outside the capital
We started the day with a visit to the famous Jalan Petaling market, followed by a walk around some Hindu and Buddhist temples and a stop at one of the most unique bookstores I’ve ever seen. We took the obligatory photo of the Jamek Mosque, set against the backdrop of the two rivers, before ending the morning at a more local market/mall.
After lunch at the hotel (Dora got a hair makeover while I visited a local barber), we checked out an amusement park located inside a mall (crazy stuff) … In the evening, we visited Thean Hou Temple, a Chinese Budish temple which provided us with some stunning evening photos.
Dinner was once again at a hotel buffet, and we wrapped up our stay in Kuala Lumpur with the iconic Petronas Towers glowing against the night sky. Tomorrow, we’re off to Langkawi!
