Day 10 - Trip To Southeast Asia - Langkawi

About 10 years ago, I researched Southeast Asia with the idea of combining city exploration with resort-style holidays. Langkawi consistently came up as a top destination for locals, with stunning beaches and a relaxed vibe. Fast forward 10 years, and while our priorities have shifted with two kids, the island remains one of the best options, even though it's showing some signs of 'post-COVID decadence syndrome.' Still, I highly recommend it.

We arrived in the morning at what turned out to be one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed in, considering all the amenities: room, pool, bar, breakfast, location, and service. Today, we took it easy with Pool Time on the menu followed by a stroll along Pantai Chenang beach. This is a holiday within a holiday, after all. Dinner was by the beach at The Cliff, followed by late-night drinks at the Yellow Bar, also right on the beach.
