Atlanta

 visited Atlanta for work and arrived a day early to explore the city. It feels like a typical Southern U.S. city: sunny, spacious, and easy-going. That said, it's probably not high on my list of family holiday destinations.

I skipped the aquarium and visited the World of Coca-Cola instead. Yes, it's very commercial, but I thought it was worth learning the story behind what is probably the most consumed beverage on the planet (and I’ve certainly done my part over the years).

I also drank a beer from a can that had my name printed on it and finally witnessed, with my own eyes, the legendary 1,600-calorie slice of cheesecake at The Cheesecake Factory.
Not a whole cheesecake. One slice.

One day was enough to get a taste, and a drink, of what Atlanta had to offer.
